I am a licensed music teacher with a degree in Music Education from the University of Illinois. Teaching music is my focus and my passion. I bring with me ten years of teaching experience. For two years I taught kindergarten through eighth grade general music and fourth through eighth grade band. For five years I taught choir, general music, and band in Uptown Chicago to students from the south and west sides of the city at Uplift Community High School. Throughout my teaching career, I have engaged students by tailoring instruction for individuals based on their unique goals, interests, and musical tastes. For the past three years, I have been providing high quality, personalized, and unique private lessons for a variety of instruments and skill sets.

Missing Piece

Having taught in a variety of communities, I know that students and parents all have unique experiences, philosophies, and views of success when it comes to music. Rather than impose specific views on my clients, I believe that my clients have the right to choose the content, goals, and approach that they know would work best for them.

Wether you know exactly what you want or don't know where to begin, my survey will help you pinpoint exactly what you are looking for in a music lesson.

I can help guide you through the process in person or you and your child can take the survey on your own right now! Click the button below to get started.
